Outstanding Information Science Teacher Award

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the Outstanding Information Science Teacher Award to recognize excellence, sustained contributions, and impact in teaching information science; the honor includes a plaque presented at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Nominees may teach in academic or nonacademic settings through courses, workshops, speeches, publications, or presentations, but teaching must be a significant continuing responsibility. Nominees must be current ASIS&T members in good standing; prior recipients and current Awards & Honors Committee or Board of Directors members are ineligible. Nominations are due April 1 or the adjacent weekday and must include a nomination statement, full CV, nomination letter, up to three supporting letters, and up to four supporting documents.
