Outstanding Leadership and Administration Award

About this program

The American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) offers the Outstanding Leadership and Administration Award to recognize sustained, effective leadership that advances professional horticulture at the regional or national level; recipients receive a plaque but no monetary stipend. Nominees must be active ASHS members with at least 10 years of significant horticultural leadership or administrative experience and may not have previously received the award. Nominators must also be ASHS members and submit the nominee’s CV, a 400-word biographical summary, a 500-word nomination letter, and three to five support letters, including at least one from another institution, by February 4.
