Outstanding Professional Paper/Publications Award

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations’ Families and Health Section offers the Outstanding Professional Paper/Publications Award to recognize an exceptional scholarly paper by a section member. The annual award includes a $200 cash prize, one year of Families and Health Section membership, and a plaque presented at the NCFR Annual Conference. Applicants must be NCFR and Families and Health Section members, have at least five years of professional experience in an NCFR-related field, and submit only one eligible scholarly paper in APA or publisher format. Papers may address research, professional review, theory, critique, or new methodology; published papers must have appeared in the current or preceding year, and applications are due May 22.
