Outstanding Researcher Award

About this program

The American Accounting Association’s Strategic and Emerging Technologies (SET) Section offers the Outstanding Researcher Award to recognize outstanding published research in strategic and emerging technologies, with recipients honored by a plaque at the annual SET Section Business Meeting. Research is evaluated based on its impact on the SET field, relevance to the broader accounting community, and originality and innovation. Nominees must be current AAA members and be nominated by a SET Section member; SET Section officers and award committee members are ineligible. Nominations, including a justification and assessment of the nominee’s research, are due annually by March 1.
