Outstanding Service to AWWA Award

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) presents the Outstanding Service to AWWA Award to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, and active participation in AWWA programs; recipients receive a commemorative sculpture with a personalized nameplate and the award is typically presented at the AWWA Annual Conference & Exposition. Nominees should have rendered outstanding service to the Association—guidance indicates at least ten years of service—and may be nominated by any AWWA member or section by submitting an entry form and supporting biographical information to awards@awwa.org. Nominations must be received by November 1 for full consideration; the five most recent Past Presidents (with the most recent serving as chair) form the selection committee, which selects a candidate by ballot and forwards the nominee to the Board of Directors for approval at its winter meeting.
