About this program
The Electrochemical Society (ECS) offers the Outstanding Student Chapter Award to recognize student chapters demonstrating active participation in ECS technical activities, community outreach, education, and membership development in electrochemical and solid-state science and engineering. Up to three chapters receive recognition, including one Outstanding Student Chapter with a plaque, $1,000 award, and publication recognition, while up to two Chapters of Excellence receive certificates and recognition. Eligible chapters must make distinguished contributions aligned with ECS’s mission and purposes; nominations are due April 15, with awards presented at the ECS fall meeting.
