The Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry (SHAC) awards the Partington Prize every three years for an original essay by a new scholar on any aspect of the history of alchemy and chemistry. Eligible applicants are new scholars who submit an original, unpublished essay; the announcement does not specify a monetary award.
