PCORI Call for Proposals for HSII Implementation Projects -- 2026

About this program

PCORI’s 2026 Health Systems Implementation Initiative (HSII) Call for Proposals supports HSII Participants in implementing PCORI-funded patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research within their healthcare delivery settings. Applicants may propose one implementation project focused on broad, sustainable evidence integration or one pilot project to develop and test an approach, addressing telepsychiatry collaborative care or family-based behavioral treatment for healthy child weight; implementation awards may total up to $2.5 million, while pilot awards may total up to $200,000. Eligible applicants are health systems with a fully executed HSII Master Funding Agreement, and the principal investigator must be an MFA-designated project lead, with each participant limited to one proposal. Letters of intent are due April 28, 2026, and invited applications are due September 1, 2026.
