Pforzheimer Fellowships

About this program

Harvard Library’s Pforzheimer Fellowships fund Harvard graduate students to spend a paid summer (June–August 2026) working with librarians or archivists on curated projects—from digitization to exhibits—with awards up to $6,000 paid hourly for approximately 10 weeks. Applicants must be currently enrolled Harvard graduate students (not incoming or departing), choose a listed project, and include a main-advisor reference letter; work must be done physically in Massachusetts and totals roughly 300 hours. Fellows may not hold a concurrent exempt (salaried) position, international students must have appropriate hourly work authorization, and recipients are selected by a committee chaired by Professor Ann Blair; fellows must submit a final report and participate in cohort discussions.
