About this program
The Phycological Society of America offers its Award of Excellence to recognize a living phycologist whose sustained scholarly activity, teaching, service, and major contributions have significantly advanced the field of phycology. Nominations are open across all areas of algal research and should emphasize service to the PSA or other phycological societies; PSA membership is not required for nominees. Eligible nominations must include a letter from a PSA member, the nominee’s acknowledgment and current CV, and contact information for four referees who have agreed to provide letters. Complete electronic nomination packages are due January 31.
