Pieter Schenck Award

About this program

The European Association of Organic Geochemists (EAOG) offers the Pieter Schenck Award biennially to an early-career scientist who has made a major contribution to organic geochemistry or a related field. The award will be presented at the 33rd EAOG International Meeting on Organic Geochemistry in Rotterdam in September 2027. Researchers of any nationality with no more than seven years of experience since completing their PhD by January 1, 2027, may apply or be nominated, with extensions possible under ERC guidelines. Submissions are due by March 31, 2027, and must include a CV, publication list, a justification or motivation letter of up to 2,000 words, and one support letter for nominations or two for self-applications.
