Pilot Community-Partnered Participatory Research Award (Pilot CPPRA)

About this program

The Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP) offers Pilot Community-Partnered Participatory Research Awards to support initial, partnered research addressing tobacco-related health disparities and informing future prevention or treatment interventions. Awards provide up to $500,000 in direct costs annually for a maximum of two years to develop partnerships, test feasibility, collect preliminary data, and demonstrate proof of principle. Applications must be submitted by collaborative community and academic Co-PIs, including newly formed teams or teams new to tobacco science. Applicants must follow the requirements and review criteria detailed in the separate Community-Partnered Participatory Research Award Request for Applications.
