Pilot Funds for Pediatric Trauma Research

The Pediatric Trauma Society is offering a pilot research grant to support basic, translational, or clinical pediatric trauma investigations by PTS members, aimed at early-stage investigators to generate preliminary data for future extramural funding. One non‑renewable award of up to $5,000 is available for a single year; funds cannot be used for PI salary or travel and no indirect costs will be covered. Applicants must be active PTS members with an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level; only one proposal per PI is allowed and Review Committee members are ineligible. Applications open each spring with awards announced in December.
