Pilot Grants Program – Clinical and Translational Science (NJ ACTS Pilot Program)

About this program

The New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJ ACTS), supported by the NIH CTSA Award, the New Jersey Health Foundation, and partner universities, offers pilot grants to accelerate translation of biomedical discoveries into clinical applications. Grants fund creative, collaborative clinical and translational research intended to develop projects into sustainable, extramurally funded programs. Eligible applicants are faculty investigators at the three partner institutions—Princeton University, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), and Rutgers University—who propose multi‑institutional, translational projects. Proposals should demonstrate clear plans for collaboration and a pathway toward external funding.
