Pilot Grants Program

About this program

Great Plains IDeA-CTR provides pilot grants to support innovative clinical and translational research projects that generate preliminary data and capacity to successfully obtain extramural funding. Projects addressing community-identified priorities—especially mental health; nutrition, physical activity, and weight; drivers of health outcomes; and leading causes of death—will receive highest consideration. Applicants should be investigators proposing clinical/translational studies aligned with these priority areas; membership in the Great Plains IDeA-CTR network facilitates notice of funding announcements and access to resources such as research studios to refine proposals.
