Pioneer Awards

About this program

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi offers 50 Pioneer Awards of $1,500 each to support outstanding undergraduate members with demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, service, and research potential. Applications open December 15, 2026, and are due June 1, 2027, through the online portal. Applicants must be active or newly accepted Phi Kappa Phi members by June 30, 2027, currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, and must not have previously received a Pioneer Award or hold specified Society positions. Selection considers academic accomplishments, leadership and service, research experience, a personal statement, work sample, and recommendation letter.
