Pollution Prevention Reimbursement Grant (Pump & Plug)

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection offers Pollution Prevention Reimbursement Grants under Section 711 of the Storage Tank and Spill Prevention Act to help cover costs associated with closing eligible underground storage tanks through pump-and-plug activities. Reimbursement is limited to $2,500 per tank, and applications must be submitted after all work is completed. Eligible applicants are tank owners with regulated underground tanks that have not been upgraded to meet federal and state technical requirements and were registered with DEP before closure.
