About this program

Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital Center on Genomics, Vulnerable Populations, and Health Disparities (Mongan Institute for Health Policy) is offering a postdoctoral fellowship to support transdisciplinary research on epigenetics, gene–environment interactions, and health disparities, including methylation analyses of stress-pathway genes and investigation of positive mediators such as social supports and religious coping. Fellows will work with senior faculty across Harvard, MGH, and collaborating institutions to build capacity in U.S. cohort studies, access training resources at MGH, Harvard, and the Broad Institute, and receive mentoring to develop an independent research agenda (e.g., NIH K-award). Applicants must hold a doctorate in genomics, public health, epidemiology, oncology, or a related field and be prepared to conduct methylation and psychosocial exposure analyses; the one-year position (renewable to two years) provides a $50,000 stipend plus benefits and travel support.
