Project Excellence Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers’ Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute offers the Project Excellence Award to recognize completed projects demonstrating design or construction excellence and innovation in coastal, ocean, port and harbor, or river engineering. Eligible projects must have been completed within three years of the application year and demonstrate achievements such as innovative technology, adaptive reuse, resilience, or reduced environmental impacts. Nominations are due April 1 and must include a complete English-language application of no more than 20 pages, including a required recommendation letter from the project owner, client, or end user.
