About this program
The San Diego River Conservancy offers Prop 4 Nature-Based Solutions grants, funded through California’s 2024 Climate Bond, for multi-benefit projects that improve watersheds, enhance habitat, reduce wildfire and flood risks, expand public access, and support cultural and tribal preservation. Approximately $8 million is available for projects in the San Diego River, Sweetwater, Otay, and Tijuana River watersheds, with awards expected in fall/winter 2026 and a two-year performance period.
