Proposition 4 Safe Drinking Water, Wildfire Prevention, Drought Preparedness, and Clean Air Bond Act of 2024

The San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy is offering approximately $48 million through Proposition 4 to support projects that reduce climate-change risks, protect biodiversity and natural resources, and expand public access within its jurisdiction. Funding may support safe drinking water, wildfire prevention, drought preparedness, clean air, and nature-based climate resilience projects; matching funds are not required, though projects with secured match may receive preference. Eligible applicants include public agencies, federally or state-recognized California Native American tribes, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, certified local conservation corps, and joint powers authorities. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis through a two-phase process beginning with a Concept Proposal, and prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to consult RMC staff before applying.
