Proposition 68 Regionwide Grants

About this program

The San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy offers Proposition 68 Regionwide Grants to support public open-space, water-quality and supply, habitat restoration, trail, flood-protection, and related watershed projects. Eligible projects must be located within the Conservancy’s territory in eastern Los Angeles County or western Orange County, with awards generally ranging from $50,000 to $206,150; matching funds are not required but may receive preference. Eligible applicants include public agencies, qualifying nonprofit organizations, federally or state-recognized tribal entities, state and federal agencies, certified local conservation corps, and joint powers authorities. Applications are submitted in two phases—Concept Proposal followed by an invited Full Application—with proposals accepted on an ongoing basis.
