The San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy offers Proposition 68 Technical Assistance through its Technical Assistance Program (TAP), helping communities develop applications and successfully implement and maintain parks, open-space, and multi-benefit projects. Support may include grant-writing assistance, facilitation, peer mentoring, best practices, and other resources, with preferential access for projects in High-Need or Very-High-Need Areas; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no matching funds required. Eligible applicants include public agencies, federally recognized or California-recognized tribal entities, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, certified local conservation corps, and Joint Powers Authorities operating within and serving the Conservancy’s defined funding area.
