Public Understanding of Social Policy Award

The Social Policy Association offers the Public Understanding of Social Policy Award to recognise individuals or organisations that have made a significant and lasting contribution to social policy via research engagement, policy influencing, fundraising, dissemination to non‑academic audiences, or other non‑academic means; the winner(s) receive £250. Nominations must be submitted by current SPA members and include a 250‑word supporting statement and the nominee’s full CV; nominees need not be SPA members. Nominees must not currently hold an academic position in Higher Education, though retired or former academics who have spent time in non‑academic roles are eligible, and submissions are assessed by an SPA judging panel.
