Putting Patients First Grant Program

About this program

AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management, with support from Canon Medical, offers five annual grants of up to $10,000 to fund programs, training, or seminars that improve patient care and safety in general medical imaging. Eligible projects may address diagnostic, pediatric, or oncology imaging, medical physics, or radiation safety, and recipients must publish an article about their innovation in an AHRA publication. Applicants must be current AHRA members in good standing, submit a complete application, and must not have previously received the grant. Applications typically open in October and close in December; the 2026 application cycle is closed.
