Queensland Library Achiever of the Year Award 2025

About this program

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) Queensland group, sponsored for 2025 by the ALIA Gold Coast Library Network, presents the Queensland Library Achiever of the Year Award to recognise an individual working in any sector of the library and information profession in Queensland for innovation, excellence and service development. Eligible nominees must be current personal or institutional ALIA members employed in a Queensland library or information centre; nominations may be by self, a manager or a colleague and must use the official nomination form, identify the selection criteria addressed, describe related activities and include a nominator’s statement of support (portfolio optional). The award comprises a trophy presented at the ALIA QLD Mini‑Conference, a voucher for a year’s personal ALIA membership or equivalent conference discount and formal ALIA recognition; decisions by the sponsor-appointed and ALIA-appointed panel are final and ALIA may withhold the award if standards are not met.
