Radiology Resident Research Grant

About this program

The SIR Foundation offers up to $20,000 for a one-year research project advancing interventional radiology and patient care, with applications due January 15, 2027, at 5 p.m. ET. Applicants must be full-time residents in an accredited clinical radiology residency program at a U.S. or Canadian medical institution. Projects require a designated advisor and at least three months of protected residency time, and recipients may not hold concurrent support from another SIR Foundation research grant. SIR membership is encouraged but not required; indirect, construction, secretarial, and office costs are excluded.
