Ralph W. Schreiber Conservation Award

The American Ornithological Society’s Ralph W. Schreiber Conservation Award honors an individual or small team for extraordinary scientific contributions to avian conservation worldwide, including applied research, habitat restoration, education, and development or oversight of bird recovery programs. The award includes a framed certificate and honorarium. Individual nominees must be AOS members at the time of nomination, while at least one member of a nominated team must hold AOS membership; nominees must also demonstrate ethical and socially responsible conduct consistent with the AOS Code of Conduct and Ethics. Nominations require a support letter of no more than two pages and the nominee’s current CV submitted through the AOS Member Portal; nominations are currently closed.
