The Naval Postgraduate School, in collaboration with the National Academies of Science, Engineering, & Medicine, offers a Research Associateship Program (RAP) focused on developing advanced numerical methods for solving partial differential equations in aerodynamics, atmospheric, and ocean modeling. The fellowship provides a $67,000 stipend, including travel allowances, for postdoctoral and senior researchers to work on high-performance computing solutions using element-based Galerkin methods and parallel computing techniques. Eligibility is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and non-U.S. citizens with a strong background in fluid dynamics, numerical analysis, and programming skills in Fortran, C/C++, or Julia, with stipends adjusted based on years of postdoctoral experience.
