RAPTIC Pitch Competition

About this program

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) at Ohio State is hosting the RAPTIC Pitch Competition on August 31, 2026, 3–5 p.m. ET at the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center (EIAC) to accelerate translational and clinical research by expanding access to resources, training, and commercialization pathways for health-related technologies. Prizes total $6,000 (First Place — CTSI Prize $4,000; Second Place — RAPTIC Prize $2,000) and the event will feature a keynote by Dr. Lakshmi Dasi; audience registration is free. Eligible applicants are Ohio State faculty developing a device or technology in health, medical, biomedical, biotech, or bioengineering, and must register to deliver a six-minute live pitch using the provided short pitch-deck template; pitch decks must be non-confidential.
