Ray Sylvester Distinguished Service Award

Phi Kappa Phi’s Ray Sylvester Distinguished Service Award recognizes a member’s sustained, impactful service over at least six years to causes or organizations beyond the scope of their academic or professional duties. The service may occur in any country and need not be affiliated with an academic institution; recipients are expected to attend the Society’s triennial convention. Nominees must have been initiated by April 1, 2022, maintain active membership with dues paid by April 1, 2027, and may not be students, current board or committee members, or Society employees. Applications are due April 1, 2027, and require a nominator’s cover letter, current CV, and one to three letters of support.
