Reginald Zelnik Book Prize in History

About this program

Sponsored by the Institute of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and presented by ASEEES, the Reginald Zelnik Book Prize in History recognizes an outstanding monograph on Russia, Eastern Europe, or Eurasia in historical scholarship. The annual prize includes a cash award and is presented at the ASEEES Annual Convention.

Eligible books must be originally published in English during the previous calendar year and may have no more than two authors; authors of any nationality may submit. Textbooks, edited collections, translations, reference works, self-published books, and bibliographies are ineligible, and nominations must be submitted by the author or publisher by April 15, with books received by May 15.
