About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the Josef Michl ACS Award in Photochemistry to honor outstanding contributions to fundamental research in organic or inorganic photochemistry and/or photophysics. The award includes $5,000, a certificate, and up to $2,500 for travel expenses to the award presentation. Eligibility is open to faculty, industry professionals, chemistry professionals, and international applicants who have demonstrated exceptional creative research in the specified fields. Nominations are accepted annually from July 1 to November 1, with the award presented biennially in even-numbered years.
