About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the Career Achievement in Green Chemistry Education Award to honor an instructor whose career-long contributions have significantly advanced green chemistry and sustainability in education. The award includes a $5,000 honorarium and up to $2,500 in travel support to attend the annual Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference (GC&E). Eligibility is limited to established faculty with a consistent focus on green chemistry in undergraduate education, including classroom and laboratory materials, research experiences, and broader educational initiatives.
