About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the Henry H. Storch Award in Energy Chemistry to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to energy-related research, development, and education, addressing global energy and chemical challenges. The award includes $5,000, a certificate, and up to $2,500 for travel to the ACS National Meeting, where the recipient delivers an award address. Eligibility is open to industry professionals, faculty, chemistry professionals, and international applicants who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in areas such as hydrocarbon fuels, energy storage, renewable energy, and advanced energy production methods. Nominations are accepted annually from July 1 to November 1.
