About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Research Corporation for Science Advancement offer the ACS Award for Research at an Undergraduate Institution to honor chemistry faculty members whose research in undergraduate settings has achieved significant recognition and contributed to both chemistry and student development. The award includes $5,000 for the recipient, up to $2,500 for travel expenses, and a $5,000 grant to the recipient’s institution. Eligibility is limited to tenured faculty at predominantly undergraduate institutions without doctoral programs, with demonstrated fundamental research advances through refereed publications, external grant support, and student professional development. The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2024.
