About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the Local Section Inclusion and Belonging Grant, providing up to $3,000 to ACS local sections for projects that promote inclusion and belonging within ACS and their communities. Projects should encourage collaboration with other ACS groups, professional associations, or community organizations and foster a sense of inclusiveness and participation.

Eligible applicants are ACS local sections, with only one proposal per section allowed. To qualify, sections must have submitted their most recent annual report and any final reports for previous Inclusion and Belonging Grants. Proposals must include a detailed budget, objectives, and an evaluation plan, and funding is contingent on adherence to reporting and budget guidelines.
