About this program
The American Chemical Society's Women Chemists Committee Rising Star Award honors up to 10 mid-career professionals in chemistry and chemical engineering who demonstrate exceptional potential in their fields. The award provides a $1,000 stipend for travel to the ACS Spring Meeting, a platform to present at a WCC symposium, and recognition at WCC events. Eligible applicants must be ACS members, typically within 15 years of their terminal degree, and include women (cis, trans, and AFAB) who have not yet received widespread recognition or prior WCC awards. Nominations, including self-nominations, are due by June 15, 2025.
