About this program

Offered by APAGS and Psi Chi, the APAGS/Psi Chi Junior Scientist Fellowship provides $1,000 to support early-stage research projects in psychology or neuroscience and offers written feedback to strengthen future fellowship applications (e.g., NSF GRFP). Funds must be used for direct research costs such as participant payments, essential equipment or software, and research-related books or manuals, and cannot be applied to salary/stipend, travel, personal computers, class textbooks, or other indirect costs. Eligible applicants are students entering their first year—or the first semester of their second year if applying in the summer after year one—of a research-oriented graduate program in psychology or neuroscience; deadline is July 28, 2026.
