About this program
The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) offers Research Grant Awards of up to AUD 5,000 to support research that addresses present and future library or information issues and contributes to the development and improvement of library and information services in Australia. Grants fund short research programs proposed by applicants and are intended to enable practical, service‑oriented investigations relevant to the Australian LIS sector. Eligible applicants are library practitioners and early‑career library and information science researchers who are current Members of ALIA. Applications require completion of ALIA’s application form (Parts 1 and 2) including personal and referee details; check the ALIA webpage for current application dates and submission requirements.
