Research in Information Science Award

About this program

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) offers the Research in Information Science Award to recognize an individual or research team for an outstanding, systematic program of information science research exceeding the scope of a single study. The award includes a plaque and an opportunity to give remarks at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting, where it is presented. Nominees must be current ASIS&T members in good standing and may not be organizations, prior Award of Merit recipients, prior winners, or current members of the Awards & Honors Committee or Board of Directors. Nominations, due April 1 or the adjacent weekday, must include a 200–500-word statement, a letter of up to three pages, up to three support letters, and three to five supporting documents.
