About this program
Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation, offers the Research Professorship to support outstanding senior cancer researchers and their broader research activities, leadership, and mentorship of the next generation of oncology leaders during a three-year award term. Applicants must be physicians with a full-time clinical faculty appointment, hold the rank of full professor or equivalent, demonstrate significant cancer research contributions, and lead a research team. Applicants must be current ASCO members or apply for membership, commit at least 75% of their time to research and mentoring, and may hold only one active Conquer Cancer grant. Letters of intent are due September 24, 2026, for awards beginning July 1, 2027.
