Richard D. Blackburn New Professional Award

About this program

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the Richard D. Blackburn New Professional Award to honor emerging leaders advancing campus community through college union and student activities work. One recipient receives a $500 cash prize, physical award, and recognition at ACUI’s annual conference. Eligible nominees are professionals with one to five years of experience at an ACUI member institution who demonstrate achievement in student activities or college union management, enhancement of the college union ideal, and service to ACUI. Nominations are due November 20 and must include nominee and nominator information, two to three supporting letters, and evidence of the nominee’s professional achievements, experience, and volunteer service.
