About this program
The Social Policy Association (SPA) administers the Richard Titmuss Book Award to recognise contributions to the advancement of understanding of social policy through single- or co-authored scholarly monographs, with a prize of £250 for the winner(s) and a particular welcome to early-career authors. Eligible books must have a publication date between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025 (evidence required), and all authors must be current SPA members. Nominations must be submitted by a current SPA member via the nomination form, include a 250-word statement supporting the nomination, and the Awards Officer will request four copies of the book from the publisher for judging.
