About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Robert B. B. and Josephine N. Moorman Scholarship annually to one undergraduate student pursuing civil engineering or a related field, providing tuition and eligible academic fee assistance. Applicants must be enrolled in and continuing in an ABET-accredited or equivalent undergraduate program and be ASCE members in good standing. Applications are due January 15 and must include a faculty-advisor-signed contact form, budget statement, 500-word essay, resume, official transcripts, and at least two recommendations, including one from faculty. Selection considers academic performance, educational plans, leadership, potential, essay quality, and financial need.
