The IEEE Electron Devices Society, with financial support from Robert Bosch LLC, offers the Robert Bosch Micro and Nano Electro Mechanical Systems Award to recognize seminal advances in the invention, design, or fabrication of micro- or nano-electromechanical systems and devices with practical impact. Recipients receive a US$10,000 honorarium (divided if multiple awardees), a certificate and a bronze medal, and the award is presented at an IEEE conference of the winner’s choice. Nominations are required and self-nominations are not accepted; previous recipients and members of the Selection Committee, EDS Awards Committee, and voting members of the Robert Bosch Award Committee are ineligible to nominate or be nominated. Nominees need not be IEEE members; the listed nomination deadline is 31 July (year not specified) and nominations may be carried over to the next year.
