Robinson-Roeder-Ward Fellowship for K-12 and Community Educators

About this program

The American Folklore Society’s Folklore and Education Section offers the 2025 Robinson-Roeder-Ward Prizes to support up to two K–12 educators, museum educators, or community-based teachers attending the AFS conference in Atlanta, October 18–21, 2025. Presenting educators may receive a $500 travel stipend, while first-time attendees receive one-year memberships in AFS and the Folklore and Education Section, enabling discounted conference registration. Applicants must describe their educational background, conference presentation or learning goals, participation plans, and how the award will support attendance; a résumé of up to two pages is optional. Applications are due June 15.
