Roger Conant Grants in Herpetology

The Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles (SSAR) offers Roger Conant Grants in Herpetology to support amphibian and reptile research, conservation, education, and related travel, with 14 awards of $500 selected annually through peer review. Applicants generally must be students and SSAR members, although exceptions apply to international, education, regional society, and undergraduate research categories; preference may be given to those with limited access to other funding. Proposals of no more than 1,200 words must include objectives, methods, budget, curriculum vitae, a letter of support, and a signed liability waiver, and must be submitted electronically by December 15 annually.
