Rose and Sigmund Strochlitz Fellowship

About this program

The University of Connecticut Library’s Archives and Special Collections offers the Rose and Sigmund Strochlitz Fellowship, providing competitive travel grants of up to $4,000 for research using its archival collections. Scholars and researchers at any career stage are eligible, with priority given to projects demonstrating a strong need for the collections, including several highlighted holdings. Applicants must submit a project description of no more than two pages, a preliminary list of collections, and a résumé or CV by January 30. Awardees must complete at least five full days of on-site research and provide a 1,500-word blog post, podcast interview, or staff colloquium presentation; funds are paid after these requirements are fulfilled.
