Ruth I. Michler Memorial Prize (AWM)

About this program

The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) awards the Ruth I. Michler Memorial Prize annually to a woman recently promoted to Associate Professor or an equivalent position in the mathematical sciences, funding a semester-long fellowship at the Mathematics Department of Cornell University. The award provides residence for a semester without teaching obligations to enable focused research and support scholars preparing for greater leadership in research and the profession. Eligible applicants are women who have recently attained the rank of Associate Professor (or equivalent) in the mathematical sciences; for application procedures and deadlines contact AWM at awm@awm-math.org or 401-455-4042.
